The donated specimens will complement the Museum's existing collection and serve as valuable resources for laboratory instruction, museum exhibitions, and geoscientific research. They will also provide students, faculty, and researchers with enhanced opportunities for hands-on learning and the study of a broader range of geological materials.

The Institute extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Garry and Mrs. Lesa Maurath for their generous contribution. Through partnerships and donations such as this, the NIGS–UPGAA Geology Museum continues to strengthen its role in supporting excellence in geoscience education, research, and public engagement.
