This project aims to constrain the P-T-D-t history and petrogenesis of the metamorphic rocks exposed in the Romblon island group. Specific aims include determining the field, petrographic, geochemical, and geochronological signatures of the metamorphic rocks in the Romblon island group; constraining the metamorphic history P-T-D-t paths of the metamorphic rocks in the Romblon island group; and correlating the reconstructed P-T-D-t history of the metamorphic rocks to regional tectonic events in western Philippines.
