The University of the Philippines National Institute of Geological Sciences (UP NIGS) extends its warm congratulations to its faculty members who have been newly conferred and renewed as UP Scientists under the University of the Philippines Scientific Productivity System (SPS) Cycle 2024–2026. This distinction is awarded in recognition of sustained research productivity, scholarly excellence, and significant contributions to science and public service.
Conferred with the rank of Scientist III are Dr. Carla B. Dimalanta, Dr. Jillian Aira S. Gabo-Ratio, Dr. Noelynna T. Ramos, and Dr. Alfredo Mahar Francisco A. Lagmay. Meanwhile, Dr. Leo T. Armada has been conferred the rank of Scientist I.
