Selected faculty members of the Rushurgent Working Group (RWG), Dr. Betchaida Payot and Dr. Gabriel Theophilus Valera, together with their graduate student advisees, Mr. John Kenneth Badillo and Ms. Mariz Alcancia, visited Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France from May 24 to June 30, 2025. The visit involved a series of advanced laboratory analyses in support of their ongoing research initiatives. This international collaboration was made possible through the COOPERATE program of the University of the Philippines System, facilitated by the Office of International Linkages (UP OIL). The engagement not only contributed to the team’s scientific objectives but also provided valuable hands-on training using state-of-the-art analytical facilities—further strengthening their research capabilities and technical expertise. This effort is part of RWG’s broader commitment to fostering global research partnerships and enhancing capacity for high-impact science.
