We are proud to celebrate the awarding of the FILMINERA Scholarship Program and the FILMINERA Resources Corporation Grant for Academic Year 2024–2025, held last April 30, 2025, at the NIGS Conference Room. The ceremony was a testament to academic excellence, hard work, and the strong partnership between academia and industry.
This year’s FILMINERA Scholarship Program proudly recognized two outstanding grantees:

- Audric Brian R. Gardona
Meanwhile, the FILMINERA Resources Corporation Grant was awarded to:
- Kryzell M. Carmona
The awarding was graced by Dr. Noelynna T. Ramos, Director of NIGS; Dr. Jillia Aira S. Gabo-Ratio, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs; and the thesis advisers of the grantee, Dr. Allan Gil S. Fernando and Dr. Betchaida D. Payot. Representing Filminera Resources Corporation was Ms. Hannah Sophia N. Manuel, who expressed the company’s continued commitment to supporting future geoscientists and researchers.
This recognition, formally announced on May 7, 2025, underscores Filminera’s dedication to empowering students in the geosciences and allied fields, reinforcing the bridge between academic potential and real-world application.
