Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and Publication
- Assist faculty and researchers in the conduct of laboratory analysis
- Disseminate findings through scientific publications and conference presentations
- Manage laboratory equipment and facilities
- Collaborate with faculty and researchers in assessing the existing laboratory equipment with ongoing research projects
- Provide technical expertise in selecting and integrating specialized instruments needed for various academic research projects
- Act as Pollution Control Officer (PCO)
- Admin-related Tasks
- Prepare and submit performance rating/target and Certificate of Service
- Handle voucher preparation and accompanying documentation for laboratories
- Procure laboratory supplies through canvassing and purchasing
- Encode and submit research documents to relevant offices
- Performs other tasks and duties that may be assigned by the Director/Officer-in-Charge/Supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
MS or MA degree* with no experience requried or
AB or BS degree plus 18 units of graduate work completed* AB or BS degree plus 18 units of graduate work completed or
AB or BS degree*
with five (5) years of experience in mid-level research operations, or as University Research Associate I or II
